On our last day in Seoul, we decided to spend it walking around Ihwa Mural Village and playing with lots of dogs at Bau Haus. We also went to Lotte Mart for some last minute shopping. This will be the last blog post for our Winter adventure in South Korea. Watch out for our Autumn posts!

Marronnier Park

After getting off Hyehwa Station, you will pass by Marronnier Park. We took some photos because it was a beautiful morning.

Ihwa Mural Village

It’s a bit of a steep climb up the hill, but the view was worth it. When we arrived at the top, we took the opportunity to take some photos on these benches, and we also ate kimbap () for snacks.

If you watch Korean dramas, the view will remind you of the rooftop houses that most leads in dramas live in. It was also a quiet neighborhood.

Walking around, you will see a lot of murals that are post-worthy.

Visitor Information:
It’s FREE to walk around and take photos. You can go there as early as you can. The earlier you’re there, the easier for you to take those photo opportunities.

How to get there:
Take the subway and alight at Hyehwa Station (Seoul Subway Line 4), and take Exit 2. Then head towards Marronnier Park.

Bau House (바우하우스)

Our family loves dogs. We were having separation anxiety attacks because we left our dogs at home, so we decided to do a little bit of cuddling with these awesome creatures at Bau House.

When you enter the establishment, you may be overwhelmed because there are lots of dogs. If you’re not a dog person, you may feel a little scared, because there are big dogs. Like this Alaskan Malamute. He’s huge! He’s like a donkey when he’s on all fours.

You would expect that it would smell like dogs in there, but it smelled so clean! All the dogs are obviously well taken cared of. They all smell like they just took their baths.

It was worth the trip to Bau House. All the dogs are so cuddly and friendly, like this Dachshund.

This dog loves me.
