Travel Korea: Lotte Mart Must Buy
One of my favourite things to do during travels is to visit the local grocery store. From my very first trip to South Korea, my family decided to go to Lotte Mart, the one connected to Seoul Station.
How to go there:
Ride the train and alight at Seoul Station and walk towards Exit 1
Operating Hours: 10:00AM to 12:00MN
Yulmu Tea – 율무차
Yulmu Tea is a thick and creamy tea made out of walnuts, almonds, and job’s tears. This is best consumed during breakfast or an afternoon drink.
Crispy Laver
One of my favourite snacks is crispy seaweed or laver. It has low calories and it satisfies your crisps cravings. This one tasted good, as it also has nuts on it.
Chocolate-Covered Fruits
My mom loves fruits with chocolates, so we had to get these various flavors, like banana, strawberry, and pomegranate. They’re really delicious.
Market-O Real Cracker / Real Brownie
These two are my favourite from everything that we bought. I actually got 5 boxes each, two of them I gave away to my friends. I actually miss the taste, but it’s a great thing that a lot of Korean products are now being sold her in Manila, and I have seen these in groceries.
